Our Path Forward

Our Path Forward

Following the outcome of the recent special election, the district is actively working to address the resulting funding challenges. While the results were not what we had hoped for, we remain focused on identifying responsible, sustainable solutions that prioritize the needs of our students while aligning with available resources.

We are actively advocating on behalf of the district with local and state elected officials to pursue additional support and explore potential avenues for relief. Below are links to the various outreach done to advocate and support our schools.

Community Conversations with the Superintendent

We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for connection and conversation within our school community. Beginning this month, Superintendent Pizzo will host monthly open community forums for families, staff, and community members.

These sessions are designed to provide a space where you can hear important district updates, ask questions, and share your perspective as we work together to support our students and schools. Open dialogue is an essential part of a strong school community, and we value the opportunity to engage directly with you.

We will kick off these events on Tuesday, May 26 at 7:00pm in the Robbinsville High School Media Center. Please park in the front parking lot of the building and use the front doors to access the building.

All following meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month. Reminders will be shared in advance of each monthly meeting. We encourage all members of our community to attend and be part of the conversation.

We hope you will join us on Tuesday, May 26 at 7:00pm. Together, we can continue to strengthen our schools through open communication and shared understanding.

Moving Forward Together: An Update from the Superintendent

Thank you to all of the residents who participated in the March 10 special election regarding the district’s public question. While the measure did not pass, we are grateful to everyone who took the time to learn about the proposal, attend information sessions, ask questions, and make their voices heard through the voting process.

The outcome of the vote highlights the importance of community voice and participation in decisions that affect our schools. Although the result was not what we had hoped for, our commitment to providing the best possible educational experience for our students remains unchanged.

In the weeks ahead, the district will continue to reflect on the feedback we received throughout this process as we navigate our next steps. We remain committed to working collaboratively with our Board of Education, staff, families, and community members to support our students and plan responsibly for the future of our district.

Thank you for your continued support of Robbinsville Public Schools and for your partnership in the education of our students.

Sincerely,

Patrick Pizzo, Ed.D.
Superintendent
